Rule 64/2001, and the law that followed have certainly picked the best elements of this story (defense without arms, planning for the construction of peace and respect for human rights, solidarity with the disadvantaged groups, preservation of artistic and environmental heritage) to give a new impetus to the relationship with the young people compared to two basic requirements: to form solidarity and to encourage the active role of citizens and to meet the most urgent needs of the territory in four areas such as health, culture , environment, and services abroad. The CESC Project has consequently sought the challenge of with the conviction of the new civil service to serve on a voluntary basis, becoming accredited and a meeting point of medium and small realities who share a quality proposal. The experience of civil service has always been a goal lived by the founders of Project CESC also in the size of the pooling of synergies to enhance the contents and working methods of those who, although variously inspired at the ideological level, they are joined in the common purpose of providing service to the area and the enhancement of the role played by the young. The CESC Project currently aggregates 41 collective areassubjects many of which are linked by more than a decade of commitment in the domain of civil service and in the themes of peace. The following are part of the federation:- 4 municipalities , 15 private social associations , 1 Foundation , 1 Company of public social services, 12 social cooperatives , 2 religious associations Religious , 1 University, 6 foreign partner associations. These bodies are present in 13 Italian regions: Abruzzo, Lazio, Marche, Tuscany, Umbria, Emilia - Romagna, Lombardy, Piedmont, Campania, Puglia, Calabria, Sardinia and Sicily, as well as in 7 foreign countries: Argentina, Brazil, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania. Virtually all areas of civil service required by law 64/2001 - including the one relating to development cooperation field which have become increasingly important over the years) - are represented in the CESC Project. The locations of implementationare 237. The CESC Project employs highly qualified and experienced staff. Particular attention is given to the quality of the civil service through the emphasis on the training programs for of both young people, as well as the local Operators of the project as well as of the leaders of the associate or partner organizationsboth of local players to the Project, both of them leaders of member organizations or in partnership . In short , the CESC-PROJECT wants to work for a civil service that is shaping for volunteers; to make then grow as responsible citizens and leaders of a multi-ethnic and open society; to give real answers to the needs of vulnerable people and needs of safeguarding the cultural and environmental heritage and environmental of the territory. Coordination is open to the contribution of other agencies, both public and private and preserves, since its origin, a relationship of collaboration with the National Office of Civil Service. The CESC Project is gradually developing its scope, engaging not only in the Civil Service volunteer project, but also in other dimensions, related to youth policy and international solidarity (see also published the Statute published).
